Xander L. is a 17 year old documented by the LAPD Gang Enforcement Detail (G.E.D.) as a known Black P Stone Bloods gang member. He lives with his mother in the housing projects located in the lower Baldwin VIllage Crenshaw reporting district 363. Xander has no contact with his father, and his mother works two jobs--making supervision of Xander difficult. Multiple radio calls have been generated on Xander s behalf by his mother and neighbors resulting in multiple LAPD reports. Xander dropped out of Dorsey High School, however wishes to complete his G.E.D. Juvenile Arrest by LAPD Southwest Unit On October 10, 2014 at approximately 1500 hrs LAPD Unit 3A63 responded to a radio call of a 415 man with a gun in Crenshaw Mall. 3A63 detained a male, black, juvenile (identified as XL), described by numerous witnesses to be the man carrying the concealed weapon. Officers detained XL and conducted a pat-down frisk search and recovered a fully loaded blue-steel, 9mm, semi-automatic hand gun from his waist band. XL was arrested for 12025(b)(3) PC and transported to LAPD Southwest station for booking (1953). While at that time it might have been just for rich white men, the American dream has been spread out to all Americans no matter what race, religion, sexual orientation, or wealth. The United States is a huge melting pot of different races and ethnicity and if you work hard enough you can become successful. Although that path may not be easy, the outcome will be great. The American Dream means equal opportunity for all Americans and it is indeed still alive. As I reach my destination, classroom 115, I am greeted by the girl whose voice I heard ringing throughout the hallway. She beams me a smile, and on â€Å"open door† she ushers me into the classroom that will change my life. I am briskly introduced to a handful of frequently used phrases in sign language like â€Å"all done,† and â€Å"no more.â€Å" These are key tools to embrace because developmentally disabled children respond to physical cues better than verbal cues. This happens to be the case for Evanna, who greeted me with her repeated â€Å"door† phrases, and is diagnosed with Apraxia, causing difficulty with speech. The T.B.L. consists of students in kindergarten through second grade with a range of mild to severe disabilities. At the age of ten I had befriended a boy Ryan, afflicted with autism, and Ryan’s battle sparked a passion within me to work in the special education field. As a Hull High School sophomore, I was the youngest student in the school’s history to pursue an internship. I did not desire to wait until college to follow my passion, and at the age of fifteen I decided it was time to start. Many people, especially at a young age, would have been frightened after witnessing the hardships involved with working in a classroom like the T.B.L. This was not the case for me; that first day was only the beginning to an internship that has lasted three years. It is a difficult field, but the rewards are truly endless. I have seen children who enter class having no idea how to read or do arithmetic evolve and graduate second grade reading chapter books and doing division. Witnessing these experiences has truly motivated me to take on the quest of becoming a special education teacher. As I continue to work within the classroom, I learn more and more each day how fortunate I am to have found a future career path to follow. Many of my peers have not the slightest inkling of what they want to pursue in college. I, on the other hand, have no doubts that a career in special education is the perfect one for me. It will be sad not being able to visit the T.B.L. each week, but it will always be in my mind, whether I am opening the doors on the first day of college, or opening the doors to my own future classroom.

Their first hit single was a song called Shop which is a word that is a euphemism for having sex. In the song they say l want to shop meaning I want to have sex which was not something typical for female artists to say. This song broke boundaries for women by disagreeing with the click © myth that women should not discuss their sexuality and do not discuss their lust towards men. In the song they talk about how they Want a certain man and where they Want him to touch, and then go on to say that they want to have sex with him. Salt goes on to say, Your packed and your stacked especially in the back, brother want to thank your mother for a butt like that. Her she is switching the roles of male and female stereotype. She is playing the role of the whistling construction worker. She is talking about a male posterior in a way guys normally talk about a womans. Salt then goes on to say If looks could kill you would be an ooze, or shotgun Bang! Whats up with that than I want to know how does it hang? She here is talking about the guys penis and she wants to know how big it is.Normally typical of men concerned about breast size. In the video, Salt N Pepper show men the same way women have always been portrayed in male videos. They have very muscular men who are wearing nothing but bathing trunks. The goal here is to place men in the same objectifying roles that women have been placed in. When the camera is placed on the men it is placed on a body part such as the abs, or chest, or legs and never zoomed in n their face to make them look more like objects then actual humans. In the video Christina sets up the guys on one side and the girls on the other like a typical middle school dance.She has the guys making rude gestures at the women and the women not having any of it.
